I'm unable to use my AMD HD7770 GPU for processing, as it crashes everytime seti tries to run on it, BSOD, with latest drivers installed, so I have suspended my GPU in BOINC, however seti is still downloading GPU only tasks.. how can i stop it and recieve just CPU tasks?? |

Go into your SETI@home prefences, uncheck the appropriate GPU option(s) and save. Then go to BOINC Manager, click on the Projects Tab, select SETI@home, and click on the Update button. This will force BOINC to download the latest preferences from SETI and stop using the GPU. Would you rather try to solve the BSOD problem than disable it though? Latest drivers aren't always the solution. GPU crashes typically are the result of an overheating GPU/system. |
