My initial guess as to what it is was correct. HINT: Had seen it used on a TV show some months back. When I went to confirm my guess, I found it on sale at Amazon amongst many places including some "brick and mortar" specialty shops commonly found at malls across the USA and possibly elsewhere... I will wait a day two to see what other Setizens guess it might be before fowling things up so quickly. |

Egg white separator. [edit] no google involved in this tool identification. The two rings hold the egg. When you squeeze the handle together. The egg gets cracked by the upper and lower jaws. The contents of the egg drop down to the separator basket. The yoke is held in the basket while the whites flow on by. |
