Same thing for Murder She Wrote. Angela Lansbury solve so many murders in that little town the writers had to send her out of town to solve murders because it seemed like everybody was murdered or committed a murder. Also knowing the Angela Lansbury character was hazardous to your health.

Mind you, Hart to Hart got into quite a few homicides along he way ...

The difference is Hart to Hart took place in Los Angles where as Murder She Wrote took place in Cabot Cove - a town so small it's not on any map (besides the fact it doesn't exist and if it did, they say it's on the east coast when filming took place on the west coast).
