I got one :) Now question is, should I crunch it away right now, or should it be crunched in normal order... About 92 MB units are in front... Decisions, Decisions... :) "Please keep Your signature under four lines so Internet traffic doesn't go up too much" - In 1992 when I had my first e-mail address - |

I got one :) Well, one of wingmen has already completed, and another two are timed out, there is always a possibility they might beat you, leaving your host without Credit (unless Eic runs a credit granting script), So i'd be tempted to run it asap. Claggy |

I'm beginning to think it might actually wrap up before my prediction of Jan 17. Linux laptop: record uptime: 1511d 20h 19m (ended due to the power brick giving-up) |

At 2210 UTC 382 6 338.70 Results returned and awaiting validation: 147,550 That last number is rather dismal. The repair of the AP database seems to be taking a lot longer than Eric said. 'Received last hour' is lowest and ' 'turnaround time' is highest I have seen. [As of 18 Nov 2014, 16:00:07 UTC] If I remember correctly deadline of v6 is 25 days, so it must be that 'Result turnaround time' is calculated between first time WU was 'sent' to 'Completed, waiting for validation' -status |

[As of 18 Nov 2014, 16:00:07 UTC] No, the calculation is from when the task was allocated to the individual computer, until the result is reported. BOINC (recent clients, at any rate) will automatically abort a task that hasn't even started computation before the deadline is reached. But provided computation has started in time, BOINC lets you finish it (you might get a warning in the event log that such-and-such a task is past deadline and may not get any credit, but it's up to you whether you act on the warning). My guess is that those two tasks/users simply carried on crunching for 23 days beyond deadline - either not knowing, or not caring, that the deadline existed. I doubt we'll ever know whether their reports came in early enough to play a part in forming the quorum for validation. |

I doubt we'll ever know whether their reports came in early enough to play a part in forming the quorum for validation. As a matter of fact.. that actually happens. Check out 1602787424 as was discussed over in "this one is gonna get stuck". Took _1 51 days from being issued the WU to reporting it. Don't know when they started crunching it--presumably before it was late--and then BOINC let them finish it. I'm interested to see if whilst the validators are down, if that is going to result in somebody being stuck in limbo, or if all three will get credit and have it get cleared up when the validators come back online.
