Well as soon as I get 1 here I move it straight to being being crunched ahead of my MB work. Cheers. |

My old iMAC that can't run AP v7 has not received a new AP v6 task to crunch since the 25th. The end is neigh! The end is neigh! The end is neigh! However I do know of at least one task that isn't going to be returned on time and will be sent out again on 2014-11-05 due to a failed machine. Urs - those work units have been validated, but there are ghosts hanging around which need to be purged. This is done every now and then, and is a semi-manual task. Bob Smith Member of Seti PIPPS (Pluto is a Planet Protest Society) Somewhere in the (un)known Universe? |

2,835 out in the field. I'm sticking with my prediction of this bottoming out (if not actually reaching 0) by my birthday. What really concerns me is the 143,740 Results returned and awaiting validation and the 40,422 Workunits waiting for assimilation. Is there a different page where one can view the AP V7 server status? All I know about is http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/sah_status.html |

Is there a different page where one can view the AP V7 server status? Not that I do know, somebody did think that that page will be configured to show v7 after v6 has gone |

Is there a different page where one can view the AP V7 server status? Made it clickable. Also, yes, back when we migrated to MBv7, the Server Status Page (SSP) showed the v6 stats for a week or two, and then Matt changed some of the values in the database queries that make the page, and the stats began reflecting the [at the time] current v7 tasks. There was another page that we were using, that has no public links to get to it (you just have to know it is there, or find somebody who posted a link to it in a forum thread somewhere) that showed the stats for all three kinds of work that was active with the database: MBv6, MBv7, APv6. That page is what we were using for this count-down game when MBv6 was dwindling down to zero. What I figure will happen again is that before long, the SSP will be updated to reflect APv7, and since that other page is just a blank page now, us curious enthusiasts will have no way of knowing the state of APv6 anymore. So.. enjoy it while it lasts. Unless that other page gets fixed/enabled, we may never know when APv6 is officially done and there are no more WUs awaiting results. An obvious clue is going to be when those old WUs begin disappearing from our task pages, but maybe that's just assimilation and not necessarily a sign that ALL of them are gone for good. Is there a different page where one can view the AP V7 server status? You are probably thinking of the old http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/server_status.php that Sten-Arne mentioned before. After the change for MB v7 on http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/sah_status.html the older Server Status was disabled. Results received in last hour: 16 Result turnaround time (last hour average): 826.87 hours That 'average turnaround' time is over 33 days - substantially more than the 25 day deadline. We really are getting down to the sticky tar deposits at the bottom of the barrel. |

Results received in last hour: 16 I swear I'm going through my last 11 as fast as the ole iMAC can muster! The other machines in the same venue finished their AP v6 long ago & have not received any more for several days. After the change for MB v7 on http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/sah_status.html the older Server Status was disabled. I am indeed talking about that page. I mentioned it in the second post of this thread: I guess it doesn't help this time around that the project status page that we used before doesn't seem to work and, the server status page will switch over to showing what's going on with v7. At some point, I assume us enthusiasts will be in the dark as to just how many are left. I guess that got overlooked and I decided to make a more elaborate explanation of it for the newcomers that didn't participate in the last countdown thread. :) Linux laptop: record uptime: 1511d 20h 19m (ended due to the power brick giving-up) |

So I just went back though & flagged the most recent instead of the first one.
