should BOINC have a PR Manager? If BOINC had the funds, I think I'd prefer them to hire a fixer, rather than someone to explain why it isn't fixed. |

should BOINC have a PR Manager? You got my vote on that one. "Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting." Alan Dean Foster |

Perhaps not quite what you were thinking of but... Thanx for the link Juha, the future of Seti lies within the youth and further generations! rOZZ Music Pictures |

I've been a physics and astronomy editor at Mondadori Publishing House for 12 years and I have also done free-lance writing for Italian magazines but also in English for UNESCO. I would be happy to apply for such a position but, alas, I am 79 and cannot warranty a long term job. But I think SETI@home is in need of a communicator, since people often identify SETI with the SETI Institute. I've just read that the Tradate Astronomical Observatory in northern Italy is to launch a project to scan the sky for laser beams emitted by aliens. Its director, so say the newspapers, is the director of the SETI project for Italy, which of course does not exist.
