Everyone must of went to bed.

Oh well, only 80mins to go now.

Cheers.

Not yet... my favourite fish (Goggles) went belly up :( everyone else thought he was hideous but I thought he was lovely, and now he is no more *sigh*

Annie, I'm so sorry to hear about your fish. :~( What type was he?

The fellow I was training got sick and had to go home. This 3rd shift stuff just doesn't sit well with some people, I guess...

Good morning everyone - would like beer o'clock to be now - but it probably won't be for TWELVE HOURS!!! :/ i will grrrr quietly, I promise

Hope that pick me up from Wiggo helped James :)

He was a telescope-eyed calico Oranda. I think my son has a picture of him on his phone but this pic will give you some idea Gordon. Had him since he was a baby when he was half the length of my thumb. Fished him out last night :( at 14cm long with another 20cm of tail and an eye-span of 7 cms :( He was such an affectionate, sweet natured fish, possibly a bit dim but lovably so. Tended to doze off mid swim then wake up puzzled :) bit like me really :)

My daughter described him as that hideous pointless pet of yours :/ Okay it was a bit weird being able to see right into his empty brain through his eyes but... really!! But thank you for caring guys :) and yes Wiggo - it is VERY annoying when fish rudely stop just like that with no reason :(

Well, I'm curious about the eyes... What sort of environment does a fish like that normally live in?

Awwwwwwww :( that is sad Julie. RIP Amedee. And thanks Chris :)

@Gordon - I think they're a product of selective breeding Gordon - I can't imagine Goggles would have lasted long if I'd given him his freedom - too encumbered front and back and much too trusting. Probably would have ambled aimlessly into another fish's mouth and wondered why it had suddenly gone dark :)

G'day Grant, when are you going to give up this yo-yo trick of yours?

Just doing the once a month trip into town is more than enough for me. :-O

Anyhow 2hrs to go. ;-)

Cheers.

Good to see you Byron, Wiggo, Grant, and Annie, I'm sure you're lurking out there somewhere...

I'm tucked into my comfy chair at work, with my big red cup of ice cold H2O, and a window looking out into the night.

Hi all, Well I might be here a few more days, I had to help my GF just get in bed. She can hardly walk at all and i'm worried. and I don't want to leave her alone. At 83 anything can happen to her.

plenty of beer and JW so i'm in good shape for staying.
Cheers everybody
