What he means is that Einstein was correct that at the speed of light mass becomes infinite, and the energy required to move it becomes infinite, thereby imposing a limitation on speed. But if we can fool the universe into thinking that something has zero or negative mass, then that restriction might not apply. Or there may be another "way round" it yet to be discovered.

Teleportation, the title of this thread, may be possible some time in the future for inanimate objects, I think it will not be practically possible for animals or humans etc.

For inanimate objects, are we not almost there already. If you had a 3D printer and I had the design for the object you require, with a suitable link I could connect to your printer and print the required inanimate object.

I wouldn't be surprised if Formula 1 teams are not already doing this.
