Looks like there's an issue with AP validation as well. About the same time as the assimilator backlog started to climb, the number of WUs waiting for validation started to climb at a higher rate than before.

Eric says the database got stuffed. He is working by remote to increase the available space now.
Hopefully that will allow the assimilators to get back to work.

Meow for now.

I wonder what the database got stuffed with? (OT) wasn't with fur was it (/OT) I am joking of course. Everything is currently running like a charm looking at the server status page. There is another 444 MB channels to go before more APs will be added

Last one I got a minute and a half ago. MB. If the splitters suddenly stopped and the scheduler was still running, ready to send still shows 274k to send.

And those should last for three or four hours, at the current rate, if nobody does anything silly. That should let the staff finish whatever it is that they're doing.

Thanks Richard for this estimate...

Splitters are running again. 'Ready to send' dipped just below 100K, but is rising again now.

Not really a panic issue, but...

... too many tapes loaded at once for AP only crunchers.

AP only crunchers will enjoy now a long stint and then a rather long dry season, unless MB shorties will come to help.

Happy crunching! :-)

If they ever fix creditnew then there would not be a problem. My two I7's only do AP only. When I run out I run out. It still pays better then running MB and AP work.

Since about midnight Berkeley time the MB splitters have choked. We need around 25/s to maintain the ready-to-send buffer. They're only producing around 16/s.
Another 16 or so hours & we'll be out of MB work.
