Reporters in my country say that wreckage on La Reunion isn't from MH370: Expert planes, Jeff Wise , for Newsweek explained: "Parts of the plane are produced very accurately and any change in their mechanics have recorded in journals. If some part has four holes and not five, then one can not say that "does not fit completely," but it's just not that part. " Here is his website. http://jeffwise.net/ If the part didn’t come from MH370, however, where could it have come from? In recent weeks the internet has been abuzz with speculation that the part might have been a replacement part not yet put into service or a spare part pulled off a scrapped airframe. Some have even speculated that the part might have come from the other Malaysia Airlines 777-200ER lost in 2014, MH17. It’s all pure speculation. http://jeffwise.net/2015/08/28/new-york-the-strange-saga-of-the-plane-part-that-was-supposed-to-solve-the-mh370-mystery/#more-4122 |

parts fall of planes all d time... & planes go there, all d time! also, if it was d currents that brought parts to la Reunion -> in a 1m time lots of parts that didn't hit la Reunion would be all over Madagascar...& still no parts on Madagascar! ;) non-profit org. Play4Life in Zagreb, Croatia, EU |

@ Wiggo, your right. 'Certainty' that Reunion debris from MH370, French official says (CNN)A piece of debris that washed up on the shore of Reunion Island in July was part of Malaysia Airlines Flight 370, the Paris prosecutor's office said Thursday, backing up a statement that Malaysia's Prime Minister made weeks ago. Following the analysis of the debris, it is "possible to say with certainty that the flaperon discovered on the Reunion Island on July 29 2015 corresponds to the one on MH370," the prosecutor's office said in a statement. http://www.cnn.com/2015/09/03/europe/mh370-investigation/index.html |

It has not yet been confirmed if the wreckage is from the doomed MH370 HUNT FOR MH370: 'White object' spotted in the waters off Reunion Island An Air France pilot spotted a 'white object' Tuesday in the waters off Reunion Island, prompting search teams to investigate a wide area about 35 nautical miles off the island's coast. A pilot on a following plane in the area, however, did not report seeing the object. The Air France pilot who spotted the object was flying at an altitude of about 10,000 feet and could not give specific coordinates. http://www.foxnews.com/world/2015/09/15/hunt-for-mh370-white-object-spotted-in-waters-off-reunion-island/ |

'White object' spotted in the waters off Reunion Island Has not been found. MH370 search to revisit more than 30 sites previously ruled out THE search for MH370 will return to more than 30 sites in coming weeks to ensure nothing has been missed. The latest update on the underwater search reveals the decision to revisit “Classification 2†sites where search vessels have previously made “sonar contacts of interestâ€. http://www.news.com.au/travel/travel-updates/mh370-search-to-revisit-more-than-30-sites-previously-ruled-out/story-fnizu68q-1227540840487 |

On Oct. 8th, 2015 the H2 channel aired an hour long documentary covering the search effort for the missing airliner. There were also interviews with friends and relatives of the missing passengers. I guess the program was finalized before the discovery of parts from the airliner at Reunion Island. I guess the program was finalized before the discovery of parts from the airliner at Reunion Island. I saw a short part of it and that much was obvious. I also suspect it was a re-broadcast, as they often do. |

Not MH370 Officials reject claim that MH370 crashed on remote jungle island Philippine authorities shot down claims Tuesday that a teen bird-hunter stumbled upon the skeleton-filled wreckage of missing Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 on a remote Pacific island. “I sent people to the site where it (the plane wreck) was supposedly seen and the results were negative,†said Superintendent Glenn Roy Gabor, who is deputy police director of the Tawi-Tawi island chain from which the reports emerged. http://nypost.com/2015/10/13/philippine-officials-reject-claim-that-mh370-crashed-in-remote-jungle-island/ |

So, was there another airliner that went missing and never was found? Or is this sighting in the Philippines a fabrication? Bob DeWoody My motto: Never do today what you can put off until tomorrow as it may not be required. This no longer applies in light of current events. |

So, was there another airliner that went missing and never was found? Or is this sighting in the Philippines a fabrication? I'm totally sure if this were real it would have been reported as missing. Airlines don't lose planes much less passengers without publicity . |

Interesting article. Does not explain why the plane flew for 7 hours. I'm no aviation expert. The Deadly Cargo Inside MH370: Exploding Batteries Explain the Mystery Why have both the Federal Aviation Administration and Boeing suddenly both gone public in issuing warnings about the “immediate and urgent risk†(quoting the FAA) of allowing consignments of lithium-ion batteries to be shipped in the cargo of passenger-carrying flights? http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2015/10/15/the-deadly-cargo-inside-mh370-how-exploding-batteries-explain-the-mystery.html |

Interesting article. Does not explain why the plane flew for 7 hours. Suddenly? January 2008 is when regulations were implemented banning them from cargo holds. I don't think seven years is suddenly. Methinks that The Daily Beast is a rag best ignored considering the quality of their reports as demonstrated. |

I don't think those regulations cover flights of airliners owned outside the USA and their destination isn't to the USA. As far as flying for 7 hours maybe, if LI batteries are the culprit, there was outgassing that rendered the flight crew unconscious at some point and the plane continued on autopilot until it ran out of fuel. As far as flying for 7 hours maybe, if LI batteries are the culprit, there was outgassing that rendered the flight crew unconscious at some point and the plane continued on autopilot until it ran out of fuel. June 2009, International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) http://www.icao.int/safety/dangerousgoods/documents/guidance%20material/icaolithiumbatteryguidance.pdf It is an old and very well known issue https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boeing_787_Dreamliner_battery_problems covered by international standards and regulations. As to outgassing, the issue there is one pilot should be wearing an oxygen mask on the flight deck at all times, so that has to be explained, no mayday, no quick descent to depressurize and open the vents ....... it isn't the simple answer, never mind someone changed the autopilot route. I know a lot of people are heavily invested in their pet conspiracy theory and simply don't want to believe pilot murder/suicide but that appears to be the most obvious simple answer. |

Capt. Hardy puts it at S39 22' 46†E087 6' 20â€. Captain claims to have pinpointed MH370 crash site There is a strong belief in the aviation industry that searchers scouring the southern Indian Ocean for missing Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 may find the Boeing 777 in the next four weeks. https://au.news.yahoo.com/thewest/wa/a/30033110/captain-claims-to-have-pinpointed-mh370-crash-site/ The plane needs to be found. 239 souls and their family's need closer. |

Capt. Hardy puts it at S39 22' 46†E087 6' 20â€. There are so many ways in life many people do not get closure. I suspect that, after a certain amount of time goes by if the plane is not found, citizens are going to tell their representatives, quit spending money on the search. Maybe some private funders would keep the search going? |
