I have recently had to redo my system and since I updated to Win 7 x64 Service Pack 1 I have again been seeing time outs and retry.
My question is does anyone remember the fix for this.
There was command or a reg setting that fixed this right away.

There are some server problems just now so don't panic just wait and normal services will be resumed.

That setting shouldn't be needed anymore, but the servers will be getting hit very heavily for a while.

That was the one I was looking for.

I know the servers are very busy right now but I had the same problem right after upgrading from Win 7 Ultimate x64 to Service Pack 1
Just to be sure the setting went in. Thanks again to all who responded and JohnDK for finding it so fast
