I've just noticed.... :) Well, I was right... it didn't last... got my answers wrong today :) We have something called the PDSA in Britain (people's dispensary for sick animals) who do marvelous work caring for animals whose owners cannot afford the very expensive cost of veterinary treatment. I've done voluntary work and fund-raising for them a lot in the past, but unfortunately haven't been able to in recent years as much. I do donate food and towels etc on a regular basis though, and they also have collection bins for old mobile phones and used batteries which helps fund them as none of our animal charities in the UK receive any government assistance. All our pets have either been taken in or come from shelters - the rewards are unquantifiable :) ID: 1498588 · |
