We have plenty of those in the system from around that date but it'll take a manual update of the database to clear them and ATM it doesn't seem that anyone has any spare time to spare on doing that.

Cheers.

You are not alone Dave. We all seem to have bits and pieces stuck here.
Par for the course.

Hopefully once SETI Enhanced workunits are finished they may also clean up the AP database at the same time.

Cheers.

Just for anyone who hasn't seen this before.....

The holder of the _1 task finished first, under deadline.
The holder of the _0 task missed the deadline, and the _2 task was sent to Dave.
Before Dave could finish and report the _2 task,
the _0 task finished, reported, and the Work Unit validated.

There is a flaw in the validators/transitioners - when 2 successful tasks are returned, it does not always check for additional tasks in-progress before validating the Work Unit, Assimilating the Canonical Result into the Science Database, and deleting the work files. This results in any tasks still in-progress going into "limbo" when they report, since there are no work unit files to compare it to for validation. What "usually" happens is the additional tasks get marked "completed, too late to validate".
