Those of you that use Firefox, might like to try out my new Extension: SETI@home User Stats. It's a simple extension that adds a small panel to the status bar, and displays either Total credits, Recent Average credits, or both. Use it to track your progress, or that of a competitor.

Feeback welcome.

Thanks.

-Chris

Is it specific to FF x86, or can it be used with Camino ppc?

Though I've not tested it on other platforms, I'd expect it to work whereever Firefox v1.0 works. Are you running Firefox 1.0 on your Camino ppc (I don't know what it is)?

Camino (ppc) is to FireFox (ppc) as FireFox (x86) is to Internet Explorer (x86)

OK, now I understand.

Though the extension might work, I can't guarantee anything. Plus, as the install only targets Firefox 1.0, I doubt the installer would think it compatible with Camino 0.8 (or whatever version you have).

I'm willing to give it a try though...if you're willing to take the risk. It should just be a matter of updating the install.rdf, and including the appropriate description tag for Camino as a target application.

If you're interested, contact me directly, and we'll try and figure it out.

I don't have access to a Mac, so I can't test anything.

Thanks.

My Mac is falling apart even as we speak, so I'm not going to try it out until later. It's just that for as much as FireFox gets touted, it still smacks of XUL and screams "port".

I've seen it under Fedora 2, though - Really nice!
