Nothing except no one understood the way it was supposed to work
Because you DIDN'T increase your bid the $300 went to The Raccoons
But your intention was for GPUUG to win!!

I'm even more confused now. My team is GPUUG. I bid on GPUUG originally. There should be no ambiguity who I intended the pledges for.

As per Petri's statement, the 2nd place team would be given 300$ 1 minute before bidding ended.

At one minute before bidding ended, Raccoon's bid was indeed $1626. At this point, Mr. Kevvy's big would then be increased to $430.

Is this not so?

The winner will be determined by a game of semantics.

Being locked so Uli can sort out the winner without pressure from anyone.

Uli - do a red-x in the cafe version when you've finally come to a conclusion.

By my count, the last bid by Mr. Kevvy was late...by 38 seconds...

Let's make this clear, he said he would increase his bid to $430 if the Raccoon Lovers bid was $1,626. It was not.

I added $230 to my $200 initial bid. $1,397 + $230 = $1,627, $1 ahead.
I think Mark understood. I never saw the conditions on that $300 bid which is why I covered in case it was valid. I was on a tablet at a friend's place... can't exactly read all those pages.

Anyways, I've made my point and will abide by whatever decision is agreed on. If it goes to Raccoon Lovers although that's $430 less from me for SAH I've still earmarked a bunch for Green Bank for this year (hope I hear back finally on it) so no loss.

If there is no agreement then I think Dr. Korpela should be the ultimate arbiter.

I have no problem with outside arbitration on this.
Although I am at a loss to suggest the arbitrator.
I would have suggested Eric, but Angela has a iron in the fire.
