battery driven bacon cooker or grill cheese griller

No, what goes in is small and an acquired taste.

Like artichoke hearts or escargo?

Oh, wow. I was afraid that was going to happen.

Okay, thanks, uli.
It's late, and I have a funeral tomorrow morning, so I will get something up tomorrow afternoon. May have to do some exploring in the kitchen cabinets. No telling what my mother had stashed that hasn't been used (or seen0 in years.....

I'm back. Sorry about the delay.
Didn't find much in the way of odd or obscure kitchen tools in the dark recesses of my kitchen, but I found this gathering dust on a high shelf.

So what is it/what is it used for?

Don't know about the "As seen on TV" part, it was a gift from one of my aunts to my mother. Not a garlic/onion chopper. Not any kind of chopper.
