Actually, watching the graphics is a large waste of time. The data is processed by your computer and the results are returned to the servers. Each data packet ("task" or "workunit") may or may not have signals in them, but we're looking for repeated signals over time - so it wouldn't matter too much if you did find a signal in a single workunit, it may have been an anomaly unless we can find another signal from the same location, which would only be found in a different workunit recorded from the same location.


If you're left wondering things, all you need to do is ask.
