The machine is an AMD K6-2 333 MHz with 64 MB of RAM.

Does anyone have an idea what has changed in the past week as regards SETI requirements?

No, but check that you have enough memory on your hard drive... if you've been saving things recently, and you're below a certain amount of free space, BOINC won't d/l... especially if you're trying to d/l CP units...

220 MB of free space on the 512 MB hard disk. I've frequently had
less space available on the disk and was able to get new work.

The machine is old enough that adding new parts just isn't
worth it.

Nov 18 22:24:37 2004 UTC:
- increased memory resource bound to 64M to prevent core client
from killing application when running with graphics enabled.

The limits is set when a wu is generated, for seti this is more specifically when the Splitter have split a wu. Earlier the memory-limit was 32 MB, so if the scheduler have some old re-issued wu ready to be sent out you can still download these, but any wu generated after 18. November can't be crunched before getting more memory.

Thanks for this information.

I can't quite decide whether to keep this machine
running, or whether to retire it in favor of a used
dual CPU server/workstation sometime next week.
