I've tried to determine which version of SAT that I'm running, but have been able to do so when looking at the "Properties" of the project. I'm running a Windows 7 Home Premium with 4 GB (soon to be 8GB) of memory and a 1TB hard drive. How do I find the version I'm running and if it is not Ver. 7, how do I download at http://setiathome.berkeley.edu? Thanks, Steve Greene Believe...and keep gazing... Steve Greene |

FYI: Both of your hosts are running BOINC v 7.0.64, which is the current recommended version, so no problems there. As far as SAH is concerned, they both appear to be running in the 'stock' configuration, and have all the necessary application files to run all current work being sent out by the project. IOW's they both have the big green light right now. One other thing other thing to keep in mind is as long as you aren't using the special optimized apps you hear being talked about here in the forums, you don't need to do anything to stay up to date as far as SAH concerned. Unless there is the rare new app rollout problem like they just had with one of the version of the ATI AP application. HTH <Edit> You can figure all this out by looking at your hosts details and tasks pages (or the tasks tab in BOINC Manager), and comparing to the projects Applications page. |

Not sure what SAT is? please explain. An unusual abbreviation of SETI@Home - the normal ones being "S@H" and "SAH". (Probably due to either finger trouble or an over enthusiastic spell checker) Bob Smith Member of Seti PIPPS (Pluto is a Planet Protest Society) Somewhere in the (un)known Universe? |

You can see that by looking here and clicking on "tasks" for each rig. EDIT: Spitfire has faster fingers than I........ |
