You're running anonymous platform.
Recently the Seti application was upgraded from v6 to v7. Since you're running anonymous platform you need to manaully update the applications.

You could remove the app_info file, that would let BOINC download the necessary files to run v7 stock applications, or you could go to Lunatics & download the installer for Windows for optimised applications.
You'll need to make sure to select the correct appications for your hardware if you do that.

Better to direct them to my site as I am the primary host at the moment.

I have a few more questions:

-I am running an AMD Radeon HD6570. Is there a resource here that will tell me what optimized applications it supports?

- will deleting the app_info.xml result in an update to the V7 stock applications?

- how much performance would I lose staying with stock apps?

- Are AMD and ATI the same thing? In the first page of lunatics 0.4, it shows that AMD users must select SSE3_AMD, but the next page has ATI functions.

I don't have an ATI card so I can only answer a couple, others will chime in. Also, I've never run the stock app for more than a day so I have no idea how much faster the Lunatics apps are, just that they are. :)

Deleting app_info will cause an auto update to v7, it MAY also abandon/error out any current work you are working on.

Download the new optimised installer, it's pretty straight forward. AMD refers to the CPU; SSE, SSE2, ... Are CPU instructions. ATI refers to the video card.

As long as Boinc 7 detects OpenCL support then the OpenCL AP app should work, and as long as OpenCL support is there and you're on Cat 12.10/APP runtime 938.2 and earlier, or Cat 13.2/APP runtime 1124.2 then the OpenCL MB app should work.

- will deleting the app_info.xml result in an update to the V7 stock applications?

You need to restart Boinc too, and maybe reset the project.

- how much performance would I lose staying with stock apps?

The Lunatics GPU apps are supplied to the project, the installer just has newer versions of the same performance,
the Optimised CPU apps are something like 25 to 30% faster than Stock 7.00 app for MB, and about 3 times faster for AP. (your mileage may vary)

- Are AMD and ATI the same thing? In the first page of lunatics 0.4, it shows that AMD users must select SSE3_AMD, but the next page has ATI functions.

There was an AMD SSE3 CPU app for compatibility/performance reasons in the 0.40 Installer, that is not required with the lastest apps.
The ATI GPU page we could have quite as easily called it AMD/ATI as AMD took over ATI.

Interesting all your MB v6 Wu's errored with Incorrect function. (0x1) - exit code 1 (0x1) was that with an app from the old 0.40 Installer? Which one?

I re-ran lunatics 0.41, and seleted multipules V6 this time from the second page. It looks like the GPU is now processing units. Which I need, because it handles as much data as both CPUs combined. Thanks for the help, guys.
