Could somebody please look at this AstroPulse error unit no.1246611383 ,1246265912 ,1246164161 ,1245925814 ,1245836564 in the report error page it says they timed out !!! When I looked at one of the units it has a return date of June so i'm a little lost as to why it says timed out . When I had a more closer look I noticed there is something about AMD yet I don't use AMD CPU's after looking at another unit it says CPU I7 I don't have that CPU .I have 5 units that have timed out on 15th and 16th .I did not try to do any changes to the system until the 17th and my system was turned off for approx. 8hrs on the 16th . I can only think something went wrong at Seti and these units are not mine ??? |

are you running stock apps? it shows that you have opencl for nvidia and cuda failing. no results. I'm wondering if you have an app_info with both apps mentioned in it. In a rich man's house there is no place to spit but his face. Diogenes Of Sinope |

Those are in red so they were timed out from the servers side, nothing for you to worry about. Cheers. |

Another 2 errors,( one optimised, the other not ) You seem to have doubled up on the CPU part of your APP INFO. Read Floyds thread,Claggy goes into a bit of detail about it,it may help you , and other people too, by not having to repeat thereself in such a short space of time. :) Hope that helps !! john3760 p.s. the other AP errors were probably just still in your cache when you changed to optimised,as they all errored out at the same time with 0.00 seconds. |

Another 2 errors,( one optimised, the other not ) The Optimised AP errors probably means he's lost the libfftw3f-3.dll file, he can copy it back from the oldApp_backup directory, The issue is that the libfftw3f-3.dll file is installed as part of the Lunatics package, but it's not mentioned in the app_info as we hadn't thought of a reason why it needed to be,, When you get the Stock OpenCL apps you get the libfftw3f-3.dll, libfftw3f-3.dll would then be mentioned in the client_state.xml, But when you run the Lunatics Installer it's not mentioned in the app_info, so when Boinc starts up, as far as it it's concerned the file is no longer needed, so deletes it, restoring it will allow any apps that use it to function. GRRRR ok The other 5 units they can't be because of Lunatics as I did not have Lunatics on the system before the 17th Is that right I don't have to worry about them ones can you confirm that at least, and I did not see the 2 you are mentioning till I looked at this thread just now |

I wouldn't worry about those 5, as they were probably caused by your changeover to opt apps, and are over and done with now. The other two from today I'll let Claggy or someone else sort out. Its the weekend, so you might have to wait until someone comes along (but you never know). It must be late now where you are, I wouldnt loose any sleep over it.( it's not like you are cracking out hundreds of errors like I did !!) :) Sorry I can't be more helpful, but I would hate to give you the wrong advice and mess things up further. john3760 p.s. hooray for the editing function (nobody will know I thought it was Sunday) phew !!! |

Thanks Claggy I looked at the bionic data folder you where right that file was missing so I did what you said so hopefully it will be ok I only have one other Question I will try and set up my XP machine manually no installer so to do that all I do is download the same files that I have on this machine but the 32 bit versions and copy the current app-inf file and edit it the same way to run 2 units on the gpu . I don't need to change the registry in windows or add anything to the system folders is that correct ? I also make a folder call oldApp-backup and copy the original files to that. Am I understanding this is what you do without the installer ? If I have to make more than the <count>1<count> changes i'll ask you later when I get that far. I think I know what they maybe so i'm only confirming that I understand what is involved. |

You can also get the libfftw3f-3.dll file from eithier the CPU AP r1797 download or from any of the NV or AMD/ATI AP downloads from Lunatics. Claggy |
