Message 1361621 - Posted: 27 Apr 2013, 1:28:19 UTC

I just moved from .28 to .64 and am having a heck of a time trying to figure out how to also move from the apps installed with Lunatic's .40 to the current app versions. I have been told to copy/paste the old app names with the new ones, but I tried that a couple of months ago and it just gave me the BSOD.

Installing Boinc .64 appears to have played havoc with my Lunatic's install, so I deleted my seti folder in ProgramData and reinstalled it, so I'm back to stock Lunatic's .40. Would someone who is much more capable (and patient) review my app_info below and tell me what I need to do - or even do the copy/paste thing for me? I'm not even sure (at this point after wrestling with it all day) which apps should replace what.

Any help appreciated!!

I was wondering the same thing as I update BOINC on almost every release and never had that happen.

I have no idea, I suppose I could have done something incorrectly, though I don't know what. After I installed Boinc .64 my Lunatics .40 install was gone completely - back to stock.

I reinstalled Lunatic's .40 and got it working again, then spent almost literally all day trying to get the newest app versions working reliably but app_info and I obviously don't get along well.

Thank you! I will give it a whirl Sunday when I have all day off to mess with it. Sure do wish Lunatics would get the licensing issues ironed out!

Do you happen to know if it's safe to move to the latest ATI/AMD drivers with your setup? I'm still using 12.10 because of all the bad things I read about the 13 series drivers.

Since your config is close to mine here is a example what you can use.

You can downlaod the files you need on my website.

With the new apps you can use all new drivers.
Its been tested until 13.5 beta.

Your app_info worked well with my machine and the new versions of the files. I did have to eliminate your flops value. I am also not having any driver problems after moving to 13.4

Thank you very much, saved me tons of time!
