Thank's wiggo got any reasons i'm getting validation errors ? or is that caused by my wingmen having problems ? when it restated after the update I got a disc error too which I thought was strange but that could be the cables to the drive I've had prob's like that before . ![]() |

I take it that you mean your "Validation inconclusives"? If so I wouldn't worry about them as you've been winged by some dodgy rigs and I certainly wouldn't worry unless they turn into invalids. If you mean your errors, other than early in the month where it looks like you hadn't set the environment variable yet for that video card, the other errors are just ones that the standard CUDA app that you (and most other people) are using can't handle but a lot of us here use optimised CUDA apps that have a higher chance of avoiding. Cheers. |

Thank's bro yes I did mean that .. Wireless is not all it's cracked up to be. I have a Logitech mousey and an IBM clicky keyboard. Both hardwired. "Time is simply the mechanism that keeps everything from happening all at once." ![]() |

Thank's bro yes I did mean that .. Not having a problem with Java 7.21 and as far as wireless goes, I have a Logitech trackball & Microsoft keyboard for both of my machines for as long as I can remember with no problems except when it's time to batteries. ![]() ![]() I don't buy computers, I build them!! |

Thank's bro yes I did mean that .. No batteries here. Just a trusty 42h1292.... These things are like battleships. I have wrecked more than a few of them by physically throwing them across the room years ago. Keycaps everywhere....LOL. geess freaking thing stopped completely harfway through the post Can you rob batteries out of another device like a remote? Have you tried following the troubleshooting guide for your keyboard at logitech's site?, there's a reconnection utility too. Claggy |

the update tried to install google chrome toolbar I think and I said no I don't use chrome it's caused problems and I wish they would stop doing that shit if I what it i'll freaking download it Java updates are notorious for trying to install the Ask toolbar -- you have to remember to uncheck it (I wish it were illegal to have things like that selected by default!) every time you do an update. ...and seeing how often they are patching Java lately, and how many machines I ride herd over, I need to do it just about every freaking day! ![]() ![]() ![]() |

the update tried to install google chrome toolbar I think and I said no I don't use chrome it's caused problems and I wish they would stop doing that shit if I what it i'll freaking download it I agree. Wish that 'pushing' unwanted programs with somewhat necessary ones was illegal. Crap should be 'opt-in' only. Not 'ooops mode' or opt-out. the update tried to install google chrome toolbar I think and I said no I don't use chrome it's caused problems and I wish they would stop doing that shit if I what it i'll freaking download it There was a time they would not give you an option to uncheck things like that, but laws were passed requiring an option to uncheck certain things. I agree with the crap they try and stick you with nowdays doing an update. Its a bear even trying to download free programs with out getting a fereaking toolbar. ID have no screen left it would be all toolbars if they had their way. ![]() Old James |
