The first guess was really close. San Diego is in the name of the park but it located at: 15500 San Pasqual Valley Rd, Escondido, CA 92027

You did want the name of the city not the park, Right? If so then msfiske got the city, just missed the name of the park. San Diego Wild Animal Park.

Not Escondido, San Diego, or even in San Diego County.

A "good guess" in the sense that he could have picked any place in the world and he got the correct state of the USA.

Hint: There are two subspecies in the photo. Bonus points for their names.

Oh, yes there are and they're beautiful! The enclosure is similar to the one in your picture, but I couldn't remember for sure. There is a wonderful zoo there now.

Must be new as they didn't have any last time I was there a couple years ago.
<ed>Perhaps away doing stud? In any case they only have a reticulated and there are two subspecies in the photo.
