Saw a set of these in various sizes in Canadian Tire today. (Where all the better Canuck foodies shop.) They are for stacking your Lagostina stainless steel pots and pans.

Pots and Pans is the correct answer. They are called cookware or pan protectors. I got mine at a Target Store for stacking tefal or teflon coated pots and pans.

Well that was a totally random win. Here is an easy one, part of my kitchen for decades now.

My thoughts as well and if I had 1 it wouldn't be found in my kitchen. :-)

Cheers.

Chris - no.

Julie - close.

Gary and Wiggo obviously have one (or more). But Gary, it doesn't have to be hops....

With some modern changes to certain processes that happened back in the early 90's those things have really become obsolete now.

Chris, re-arrange some of the words in your last post and you will have one of the two acceptable correct answers.

Julie - very very close.

Well, no new guesses. Gary obviously knows what it is, and was the first to hint at this. If I don't get an answer by tonight I will give the win to him.

Close enough Chris. It is for drying beer or wine bottles after they have been washed, so you don't dilute the precious fluid about to be put into them. Over to you!

I should have recognized it as similar to the test tube driers in high school chem labs.
