WOW! Good one. I was not even close on this one.

Thank you Chris. Will post something when I get home tonight. The chrome thing in the base confused me, but otherwise is looks like something I have that is electrical powered. Plus I love shaved ice in the winter, no I mean summer. When ever it hot out. TTFN

From the configuration of the blades it's going to be a
<something> shredder rather than a <something> grinder.

They are sold here as "Parsley Grinders" but they can be used to shred any herb, even the "illegal" type I believe, so Julie's looking good on this one. ;-)

Cheers.

I am with you Carlos. A lot harder to use the Gadget than chopping.

They are quite old in history really and date back to when people use to dry their herbs in season for use out of, so unless your herbs are dried stick to a knife or chopper.

Cheers.

I'll look for something when I get home. My Photobucket won't open. Darn internet connection on the train...

I think some may have used it to dry other herbs than parsley.

It appears that ever since photobucket changed it can be hit and miss to see pictures - even on the direct link :( sometimes it takaes a few minutes to load - I suppose if it takes that long to show it won't show properly here.

rechargeable whip cream cannister

That was a wild guess. I just now went and looked for it and it is a "Mosa Whipped Cream Dispenser".
