Why call it Mavericks?
Apple has finally run out of cat names for its OS X updates—sorry, lynx, bobcat, and tiger—so it’s on to a brand-new theme. Instead, the company has chosen to base subsequent OS X updates on locations in its home state of California. The first of these is Mavericks, a famous surfing location just southwest of San Francisco.

It would be nice to see this come about.

Home-built MacPro (i7-3770k, 16 Gigs, GTX 660 Ti) works on SETI while I'm elsewhere, and it would be nice to unleash the GPU as well.

Been running this on GTX680 on MacPro 2008 for a while. Haven't succeeded in getting source code pushed into production. Will discuss with J to see what can be done.

This on Mavericks but worked on Mountain Lion. Nvidia don;t appear to have released an updated driver yet so using base that comes with OSX.

Well gearing up for Cuda regression tests, and x42 phase 1. Can Edward see the bits with the evolving plan on your site Arkayn ? If not perhaps I can move the thread there. With a bit more info on that Mac build I can clarify some areas, and roll out x41zc there as wider Beta. My suspicion is the project staff might be up to their neck in GBT stuff due to the massive number of new candidate exoplanets, so waiting on anything there likely an ongoing roadblock.

He has developer access, so can see those threads.
