I recently came back to running Seti@home. I am wondering if there is a way now to grab my old account, it had 261 credits on it. |

Were that 261 credits or SETI@home classic workunits? Anyhow, if you remember the email address you used at the time, you can revive your old account. If it was a SETI@home classic account, you can use the special instructions link on the home page for SETI@home Classic participants to map it to your current account. It was back in 2000,, probably was classic back then. As far as what type of credits, not sure. I did a search on username I thought I used and it shows 261 credits. |

I have old email addy but it isnt accepting,, probably deleted after all these years :) Any who,, lets find a signal :) The link is this: http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/sah_classic_link.php You have to be logged-in your current account before you click the link Then just paste the "old email addy" in the form. (For this to work: it absolutely do not matter if "old email addy" exists/accepts letters. If the "old email addy" is in the SETI database the above will work but only if the old account is SETI@home Classic account and not BOINC account. Hi, I didn't want to start a new thread but I have the same issue as the poster at the top. I have had a least a dozen different emails over the past 13 years and I have tried all the ones I could remember but the classic account linking page doesn't recognize any of them. Is there anyone I could email or PM with my details that could help me link my old account? |

Is there anyone I could email or PM with my details that could help me link my old account? No ('they' will have no time to deal with millions of users; and how you can proof that you are giving your 'details' and not of someone else (e.g. Profile and user name are public - visible to anyone)) The only 'detail' that matter is the email So keep trying (to recall) the old email addresses  - ALF - "Find out what you don't do well ..... then don't do it!" :)  |
