contrary to appearances, I eat very few potato chips. Is it any surprise I want the best? ;)

It is not QUITE as big of a search as my quest for cobras fangs..

I am still searching for the perfect bag of plain crisps. Some USA ones 18 months ago came pretty close :-)

Remember the name on the bag?

for the best.. heat up some oil, peel some potatoes, and then with the peeler peel off slices and drop them in the oil. When they stop bubbling they are done, pick them out and set to drain, sprinkle with salt.

Still wondering if the truffle peeler might work better for slicing them

I like those Maui onion ones too, but Chris does not care for flavored chips. He is a potato purist.

Here are a couple more cases where I wish the image had its name-number actually in the image.

I hereby acknowledge winning the Kitchen Tool and, per my own suggestion, will start a new thread with the next tool. I have selected one, but its purpose is in its image name, so I will have to change the name and post it to my own web site; I will do this after work today.

To N9JFE(David)

You posted the wrong number in the "Count to" thread should have been 11683.

I did PM but obviously too late, I have asked a mod to hid it to keep the sequence.

Another couple of hours for the last minute entries and then the hammer of judgement will descend on the anvil of arbitration...

...and you'll forge a decision? ;-)

Which was actually meant as a comment on your quote, but I'll take the win...

What???? This is a bit iffy .....

Hmmm...should it be allowed or...;)

oi!

tank = centurion - OK

Byzantium = ancient greek city

Cylon = Battlestar Galaactica character

Whats going on?

If my memory of the original Galactica isn't too fuzzy, weren't the Cylons called centurions? If not, feel free to bypass my entry.

(BTW, Word Link has its own discussion thread.)

If memory serves me, centurion was one of the ranks in the Cylon army.

So either I'm not nuts, or I'm not the only one who is.
