Re the rules recently reprised - surely no double posts? Did somebody double post recently? I did Force, but not disturbance. David Sitting on my butt while others boldly go, Waiting for a message from a small furry creature from Alpha Centauri. |

Re the rules recently reprised - surely no double posts? I did disturbance. And I would have gone on to force from there. I think Shannock9 posted because of a recent discussion that multiple posts in beets are allowed - somebody went on to say multiple posts and double posts are allowed in all game threads bar TLPTPW and somebody else contradicted to say word link disallows double posts too. I don't think there have ever been double posts in the wordlink - somehow defeats the purpose. A person who won't read has no advantage over one who can't read. (Mark Twain) |

Sorry my mistake. I gave them up when I was 34 ..... ...an early developer then. I recently amazed my grandkids by bringing my teddy to a "bring your favourite toy" church service. It was carrying an OAP bus pass. |

I was about to type 'ambisinister' but I don't think that features in the OED :) A person who won't read has no advantage over one who can't read. (Mark Twain) |

I was about to type 'ambisinister' but I don't think that features in the OED :) The OED (shorter) lists ambilævous as left-handed both sides; clumsy. Which in my opinion seems a bit strange to mix latin and french to form a word when the opposite is latin for both halves. Ambisinister seems much more logical. |

Ramblin' man=Hank Williams song "That ain't no Hank Williams song!" (Let's see who gets that movie reference.) Actually, it is but I didn't know it. I only know the Allman Brothers version. Ramblin' man=Hank Williams song All they have to do is watch the clip and they'll understand. What's the Wisconsin connection to this movie? David Sitting on my butt while others boldly go, Waiting for a message from a small furry creature from Alpha Centauri. |
