SETI not attached to Project error

Hi my Seti BoinC [6.10.58 ver] was ok on Saturday 27-10-2012 after PC (Win7) restart BoinC reported it wasn't attached to a Project I've managed that , but all my previous tasks have gone would anybody know why that would happen ? thanks |

Hi It appears when you re-attached most of the tasks were "abandoned" Host 6618285 Abandoned Tasks Don't worry, they will be sent to someone else. |

No I've only ever had the One account I don't think it was BoinC either .....anyway have 1 8 Hr task and Seti is back UP !!! |

This happened to me after a a power failure crashed my computer and corrupted the client_state.xml file. Not much you can do about it unfortunately but reattach. The units you had on board will be dead, but are still on your HDD. They will never be crunched and will just sit there taking up space, so it's a good idea to go to the /boinc_data/setiathome.berkeley.edu folder and delete them. T.A. |
