Just now there are no Lunatics (windows) apps available because of a a problem with licensing. They hope to have them back "soon". I hope soon really is soon as I'm about to hit the go button on my new cruncher and would like to have the lunatics running free from day one. I was kinda hoping someone might have a previous version stashed away in a dark hard drive sector somewhere :) |

You have apps for CPU and nVidia, so unless you're going to have an ATI card in your new system, you have all you need (even if the CPU app might not be the best one for your new CPU if it's Intel, but still waaay better than stock). |

I was kinda hoping someone might have a previous version stashed away in a dark hard drive sector somewhere :) Previous versions have the same license issues. The software is distributed under the GPLv2 license, which gives end users more or less full freedom to do anything with it on their own systems. Anyone becoming a redistributor by sending it to someone else would be taking on many additional legal obligations, I strongly discourage it. Joe |
