I think it is a tool for making crackers. When you make crackers you roll a bread dough out really thin and then prick it all over so that there are escape holes for air. You don't want air getting trapped in your dough and making your crackers puffy. This tool would do that efficiently, if you made a whole lot of sheet pans full of crackers. |

A tool to make your pizza dough airy. If you are trying to make a flat, crisp, cracker-style pizza crust, then you would use this tool to prevent your pizza dough from getting puffy with air. |
