Nope, these are quite old. To be more precise some were thought to have been formed around 1200 years ago. Thank you! Your "age" clue was one clue too many (or the wrong clue that early on), and cracked it. There aren't that many well known 1200+ year old mound sites in the U.S, so after you dropped that clue, it was pretty easy to find the place. I'll see what I can come up with.
