	Yes, a "marker post" saying post x has been hidden by a mod due to z reasons would go a long way towards explaining why threads tend to make no sense at all. Of course, that assumes the thread was making sense in the first place. (beat somebody to it)

	Basically there's a conflict in the Intel EULA and how previous applications were distributed in light of a misunderstanding in the EULA regarding Intel's IP and CR. To avoid potential issues the applications were taken down from distribution until the issues can be resolved.
