Anyone know what the download port for WU's is? I cannot download thru my router and want to add the right port to it. If I can, I wont have to reset my IP address every time a WU completes.

Thanks in advance for any help.

BOINC uses the same protocol and port as your browser: HTTP Port 80
If you can browse the net BOINC should be able to download wu's also. Is there any firewall engaged?

Are you behind a proxy? That would cause problems if it's not set up in BOINC.

If it is a firewall on the computer, you may have to tell it about BOINC.

The firewall is on my router. It's a US Robotics 8054 wireless betweem my switch and modem. I have the same problem trying to run windows update. I can up/down load any other site, but Boinc and Win Update.
