Now this is getting extremely weird. Why should a fish fork even if strange be excluded? It belongs in the kitchen and is related to food.

Why the heck is it so hard to understand that a dog chain would be excluded, but not a fish fork even if strange looking?

Sometimes I think that we're not only living on different parts of the planet, but on entirely different planets. The logic used, or not used, on different parts of this planet, might as well be from totally different planets.

I'd better stop participating in games like this because I simplay can't understand how on this green earth people can have such difficulties to understand the simplest ot things. Geeze, if a thing is made for the kitchen, be that for food or for the dishwasher, or stove, ot the kitchen sink, then it must qualify as a kitchen tool.

At first I thought Carlos had explained it perfectly, but then Angela came in with the fork thing, and then that was excluded, although it clearly belongs in the kitchen.

Why make it so difficult when it really is so simple. The thread title is "Mystery kitchen tool", how could that be misunderstood to mean something else than what it says? A tool MADE for the kitchen, must be of any type, made for usage in the kitchen. Even a special lighting device made for kitchens should qualify as belonging in a thread with the name "Mystery kitchen tool".

You do other things in the kitchen than prepare or cook food, so a "Mystery kitchen tool", must include tools used in the kitchen (and made for the kitchen) for other purposes than preparing or cooking food. Otherwise lots of tools alreayd posted in that thread would be out immediately. You don't use a cork screw to prep food. The fish tongs would be out too (if the fish fork is out). The tea infuser would go, since tea is no food. Lots of already posted pics would go, even if they clearly are made for usage in the kitchen. See, this is ridicolous.

What's wrong with the logic used on this message board????

I agree with Angela's agreement with me. A fork is tool to serve food.
Pass the bottle.... which can also be found in the kitchen and used to both serve and store food. Store? Should I have included store food? Yes I think it belongs. So tool made to prepare, served or store food. Any more?
