Is there a reason for getting only 1 work unit, and only when completing a previous work unit? Is there a way to request a range of work units to be downloaded to my machine

Your client should already be cacheing multiple work units based on the speed of your machine(s), etc. Cacheing is done automatically by the Boinc client.

If you have just joined, make sure you have the latest Boinc client and let Seti run for awhile. You should eventually get more tha one WU downloaded at a time.

They have changed the format from how many days of cache to connect to network every so many days. Originaly I had set mine to 6 days cache. Now it says connect to net work every 6 days. So edit to connect every 3 days it should allow you to down load 3 days worth. Let me no if this helps.

How many WU's do you normally get with a setting of 3 days? Mine is set at 1 day and I usually get 15+ WU's a day. Even with the general preferences set to 1 day only, you should still get more than 1 WU at a time.

> Im sorry but im not understanding your question. Do you get 15 wu a day but only 1 at a time is this your question? I have 20 computers running and I have my cache or connecting to network set for 6 days and when my computers request more work it downloads alot at a time. I have not counted how many but its alot.
