NK still apparently intend to develop and test nuclear weapons and have told the rest of the world to mind their own business. I wonder what China's view is?

I would think China dosent like that kind of talk. After all they are just a stones throw across a wide river. I would think China would be a tad bit nervous if N.K. gets the bomb.

Not that China would lose. But having an indrustrial center hit by a nuke could hurt them.

Well China likes upping the tension a tad....

East China Sea Tensions

"We cancelled the offer last night after taking into consideration the feeling of netizens," spokesman Zang Wuan told Reuters news agency."

Had to laugh at this, so will we soon see a Net Government with their own flag :)

I wonder if Argentina will side with the Chinese here.....
America obviously sides with Japan though.
As the saying goes, possession is 9/10th of the law, so Japan owns it
hence "naff-off" China.

Point of View 2

Another fascinating insight. Can she/will she overtake the USA as the world's largest economy?

"For us in the West this is an entirely new phenomenon. And it will shape our future"

Interesting final comment.

I think there's every possibility that China will eventually overtake the USA.
Any country that goes from spending 75% of it's yearly take on inwards investment,
even if the majority of this is on military expenditure, down to as little as
10 - 20% is going to seriously retard it's future growth. Especially so where
it's social spending cost has risen in opposition, from 15% of yearly take up
to 66% and still rising then the USA has only to look at the UK to know where
their going to finally end up.

China

Will it shape our future?...only as much as Japan did during the 70', 80's and
90's I suppose, what ever those changes were??...as you can see, It ain't an
easy question to answer, Sirius.

American firms increase their invasion of China

Will they get away with avoiding tax by telling their investors they're doing great but tell the Chinese government they're making a loss?
