Apparently, this was mentioned in another thread. I am unable to find this right now.

But, according to the following web-page:

such a gaussian curve (or maybe a Bell shaped curve) could theoretically be produced by the client if someone ever were able to be so lucky.

In which way could such a Bell shaped curve tell about possible (extraterrestrial) intelligence in such a signal?

Definitely an ordinary gaussian curve returned from the curve thought drawn through the spikes and the pulses return some kind of (extraterrestrial) signal profile, but in most or all instances such a curve is not thought of as having an intelligent origin.

Do we know of any other signals that possibly were narrowband (and apparently gaussians by nature) which may have carried some kind of (extraterrestrial) signal profile?
