Thankyou very much for your time and bandwidth. You helped out a lot of people during the current SAH server problems.

I understand why you started blocking IP's your bandwidth usage must have gone through the roof over the last few weeks. Your tolerance is much appreciated.

I had a couple of pages of downloads wating to slowly trickle through. I tried the proxy again. They cleared in minutes without me having to click on buttons for endless hours.
The proxy lives again.

The proxy is still very much up and running, and accepting connections from all over the known universe.

Earlier this morning it was very, very dead.

Long live the proxy!

Long live the proxy!

Could have been an automated DDOS trigger. With so many people using it and going to the same destination.

Could have been an automated DDOS trigger. With so many people using it and going to the same destination.

Or it could have been a problem with the project. There were some down-spikes in the cricket graph yesterday instead of its usual grassy plateau. And it looks like it's starting down again now.

The logs on my boxes show they were OK for hours before and after the time of the original post.

Nope.
Not using the proxy got net access & downloads, uploads & reporting happening again. Just at painfully slow speeds compared to what happens when using the proxy.
