I wish to see in a future update for boinc an option to disable notifications.
I like having my windows task bar hidden.
When ever there is a notification the task bar un-hides and will not hide again.
I have to reboot to solve the problem, but when I launch boinc, problem back.

Ahh thank you.. Nice to know it was there in my blind eyes..
I normally do not upgrade the client every time there is an update.

Just like Windows, do not like all the security updates. Some cause problems.

This is a Seti@home board. Boinc is -> that way.

See you did not have the proper answer, so you should have not replied

Well maybe you should have posted that same response here:
Idea for Boinc.....

Since it also was pertaining to Boinc.
And you did reply to it, just not the same as here.

What I don't understand is why you have to reboot to get the task bar to hide again.

I've set my Windows 7 task-bar to auto-hide today, and I've just received a Notice from Einstein about their new Pulsar discovery. I got the pop-up notification (once - I have reminders turned off), and I'm getting notifications from other Windows programs too, but the task bar is still hiding itself afterwards as it should.
