A temp fix for our bandwith problems ?

Agreed, which is why I said I would support graying out the retry button after a number of presses within a certain amount of time (I pulled the number 3 in 15 minutes at random). |

From queueing theory we get the (to some people) surprising result that any queue system that is on average more than 75% loaded will get into trouble of one sort or another. The SETI 100Mb link tends to run closer to 90% loaded when it is working well, and 100% usage when it is in recovery mode. The only long term fix is to get a bigger pipe up the hill. BOINC WIKI |

I'm wondering - there are no AP WUs, but bandwidth is full loaded... There will be some that have been allocated but are still in download queues, there are a lot of shorties (VHAR's) around and these put a lot of strain on bandwidth. Kevin |
