On Wednesday 9/26, I created a BOINC-wide team (Team Elder Scrolls). As of today, I haven't seen the team show up on the SETI@Home Team search results. Is there something wrong with SETI's servers, as 32 of the other projects have already attached and added the team to their servers. I'm somewhat amused that we can create a BOINC-wide team at boinc.BERKELEY.edu, and yet it doesn't show up on setiathome.BERKELEY.edu. ;) C'mon, you're both at the same U.C.

Anyhow, how do I get someone to update my team to being accessible from SETI@Home? :) Reminds me, I have to bug the BOINC crew since the main team page on their servers never updates. Seems like the most up-to-date information is at cross-project trackers like boincstats.com.

These are only updated occasionally. SETI has been having server problems, and may have turned off updates for several non critical items.

I will forward this to the relevant people, but since it is the weekend, don't expect to see anything until sometime next week (possibly after the regularly scheduled Tuesday outage.)

Hey thanks! Yeah, I just wanted to join the team I created. I figured it'd take a number of days, but also figured there may have been a problem...thus the post. Thank you for forwarding it on, and I wouldn't expect any updates/responses on the weekend, I know that everyone needs a break sometime! :)

Well, thanks again! I just got two automated messages. One was "Team created on REPLACE WITH PROJECT NAME" @isaac.ssl.berkeley.edu and the other one was from SETI@Home... So it appears it got added. Really appreciate all the help!

Ah, wasn't sure if that was the case. But great that it got fixed! I wonder if climateprediction.net has the same bug...they're not updating either.

Probably. Try to prompt them to update the server code.
