Hi, may be a stupid question, but I found this http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/workunit.php?wuid=797100773 under my tasks. Has anybody had this before and could shed some light on it? Many Thanks MF / Andy |

Hi, Dunno fer shur, but if I had to guess, I don't think you will receive credit for it, as the validation appears to have occurred before your result got reported. Keep an eye on it, maybe the validator will catch it on another pass. "Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting." Alan Dean Foster |

Hi, Looks like the task timed out for the first person. Then was sent out again, to you. While you were processing it they returned the task & it validated. Then you returned your result. You may or may not get credit for it. SETI@home classic workunits: 93,865 CPU time: 863,447 hours Join the [url=http://tinyurl.com/8y46zvu]BP6/VP6 User Group[ |

Thanks msattler & HAL9000 for the replies. Getting the credit isn't really the point. Thoose 694.20 won't stop me from hitting the 1st Million soon ;-) It's just this old results floating around in the credits as "awaiting..." In most cases there's an explanation, but this time I couldn't figure. So, thanks again, for giving me some clue. BR Mf / Andy |

Thanks msattler & HAL9000 for the replies. Please do keep an eye on it. The design of BOINC means you should get credit, but we have seen Astropulse cases like that which ended without. The implementation of BOINC sometimes doesn't match the design, that's a bug in anyone's lexicon. Your task had a "Report deadline 24 Sep 2011 | 3:38:44 UTC" so the final chance is then. The Transitioner ought to notice your result and trigger validation at that time if not before. Joe |

The 24th has been passed and yet no change... weird... Now - as I don't get any connection to SETI anymore - that's probably my last chance to get some credit ;-) |
