Does Boinc Run Benchmarks on CPU automatically ?

I didn't tell it to run...

I believe BOINC's internal scheduler is set for every 5 days. At least that's what I think I remember reading here.

If your stdoutdae.txt file goes back far enough, look for the previous benchmark.

You're running 6.12.33, so that 5 days is treated as specified in changeset [trac]changeset:22365[/trac]. IOW, they shouldn't run again unless you quit and restart BOINC sometime more than 5 days from the last run.

But there are other things which may cause benchmarks to run, one obvious one being the user clicking the menu entry. Changing some things in preferences may also do so.

I don't see why they want to run it every 5 days. It isn't like the hardware in my machine changes every 5 days. So I disable benchmarks after the first one.
