(Kudos) Thanks for giving us a place to gripe about the next outage.

[Gripes] Everyone complains to much.
[Kudos] Maybe they will do it here instead of making 27,394,698,234 new threads to do it.

(Gripe) The Seti project has no 'deep pocket' funding.
(Kudos) The fact that they do as well as they do with the number of users they support is downright astounding.

This something to gripe about? You must be a Vogon (or a certain friend of mine): only happy when you have something to be unhappy about.

Gripe- project backoffs in the v6.12.33 client. My system with v6.10.58 had filled it's cache by yesterday. The one with v6.12.33 is probably about 1/6th full (if that).

GRIPE. To much worry about credits and rac when the project is down. Some people are more concerned about RAC than the purpose of this project.

Kudos. Seti@home team always fixes the problem, no matter what. Give them some time and I think that they could fix all the problems of the world.

Gripe- the dodgy download server. Some downloads fly, the others time out straight away, or after 30sec to 5 min without actually staring to download anything.
Looking at the network traffic graphs & Scarecrow's graphs there doesn't appear to be any rhyme nor reason. It just is.

The only thing I can figure is it depends on WHICH download server Boinc tries to contact.
I have seen the same thing.......the same host getting bouncy connections on one batch of downloads, and ditching on the next.
Or, one rig getting wonderful download speeds, when another on the same router, at the same time, gets massive timeouts.
