I would rather have shorties than none-ies.

Ahh yess...
Little kibbles be better than no kibble at all for the kitties.

I see some of you haven't noticed the EstimateNew, yet. :) Little kibbles do not want to be little anymore. We'll see how it'll all work out in the following weeks, I guess.

Yep, only about a thousand uploads to go, looks like mine was munching shorties overnight.

Have almost 100 units that've been waiting to upload over the past couple days and still aren't going yet this morning. If I'm reading everyone correctly, the uploader was having issues? Now it should be ok?

Yes, that's a "feature" of BOINC - it periodically stops doing something, and waits for you to post a complaint, then immediately starts doing it, just to make you look silly (8{).

Computers - no matter how well you understand them, there is still a lot of PFM involved.

Had a problem there wondering what Pulse Frequency Modulation or Printer Font Metrics had to do with your post, but google is your friend, even if it does take 4 pages to find the correct interpretation of the acronym.

Actually I should have known, when I worked in AFSouth with the US Navy, they christened me Magic Fingers, because I always got the kit working. (1975 their 200th aniversary - that was a celebration day or two or three, it was hard to remember)
