Looking back I see Chris may have lead a few astray.
I did not say that it was a simple "multiply first by two and get the second", that would be too obvious...

Some are fairly close, and others are long way off.
Numbers discounted so far, in no particular order:
82, 14, 86, 718, 100.

A hint, both are two digit numbers.

35, 55, 43 are added to the list - 86 was already there.

OK, its now late afternoon, and judgement time is upon us

So, a couple of really wild ones
14 from Celt Tooth
and 718 from Uli

This leaves a few, but none are correct.

In third place we have 82 from Chris S
In second Place we have 86 from Chris S
(Carlos falls here because 86 had already been presented by Chris S)
And the winner, but only just, is 100 from James Sohterden

The correct answer is 46 and 94
The relationship being 94 = (2 x 46) + 2

So James, have fun.

Ok I have a nice easy and short one.
How many roads do I have to take before I pull into my companys parking lot.

clue #1, Its 23 miles one way.

I think two guesses each will do for this.

My drive was almost the same. I traveled on 6 roads, including 1 highway, so that is my guess. 6

I think you must live in the burbs; so I think 4 is just about right.
-=-=-=-=-=
edit:
When I was working it was about 30 miles one way and as I live in the country there are only three roads to travel on.
