don't forget you are running IE9 which is still a bit sketchy I'd say all browsers have their own sketchiness. On the plus side? I couldn't even get the Google toolbar to install/work in Firefox on the machine I was playing around with. My general view is "anything buy IE". As most attacks seem to still be directed at the flaws in it. So the fewer things to try and take over the machine & take away processing time from the S@H the better. Guess that I'm ONE of the lucky ones!! I'm in the proces of doing a total refresh to clean out all of the free radicals and any installations that I have installed, including Google Earth and Adobe Reader, I have deselected anything that has to do with toolbars. None of the deselected items were installed. After reading all of the posts I checked programs & features and the manage add-ons, nothing in either. Running IE9 on Win7 64-bit. I don't buy computers, I build them!! |
